"Three-dimensional TV" made in Nanjing 
 

     In recent days, the first three-dimensional LCD manufactured by electronic science and engineering department of Nanjing University signifies three-dimensional liquid crystal display technology in Nanjing ranks as the first in the world. The technology can make people watch the three-dimensional images on the display.

     At the lab, there are a 15 inches and a 17 inches LCDs on the table. It is reported that these two sample LCDs are supported by National 863 Plan and Jiangsu 2004 High-tech Plan Project. They have complete independent intellectual property rights.

     Experts introduce that the research level of three-dimensional LCD of Nanjing University is the same as that of western developed countries and represents the highest level in China.
