Various activities to be held during Spring Festival holiday 
 
During the Spring Festival, Nanjing parks have prepared many activities for residents.

Xuanwu Lake Park: setting off firecrackers

Time: From January 28 to February 12.

Venue: Lingzhou Square, Lianhua Square. The ticket price is 20 yuan per person.

The Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt: the 20th anniversary celebration of the Confucius Temple Lantern Fair

Time: From January 29 to February 15.

Contents: 12 large and medium scale lantern groups and 13 exquiwww lantern groups will be set up in Dacheng Hall and Mingde Hall.

Imperial examinations activities will be organized in Jiangnan Examination Hall.

The mini-palace lanterns will be displayed and the large-scale riddles written on lanterns activity will be held in ancient residence of Wang and Xie.

The folk traditional flower lanterns market will be open in the west square of the Confucius Temple. There will be about 400 thousand Qinhuai traditional flower lanterns and 100 thousand technical lanterns.

The water tour route will be open from Dongshuiguan to Zhonghuamen along the inner Qinhuai River.

Yuhuatai: folk-custom performances.

Time: Form January 29 to February 4.

Contents: the folk-custom performances will be held from January 29 to February 2 in the north gate square. The children puppet shadow play will be held from January 30 to February 3 in Yuanmen Square. The painting and calligraphy exhibition, paper-cut and poker work performances will be held in Yuhua Pavilion. The indoor flower exhibition will be held in Yiyuan.

The ticket price is 25 yuan per person.

Mochou Lake Park: Ice sculpture World

Time: 9:00-21:00 from January 28 to February 28.

Contents: ice-skating, ice rock climbing, photography competition and other activities will be held.

The ticket price is 48 yuan per adult, 28 yuan per child, senior citizen and handicapped.

Hongshan Zoo: special performance by dogs

Time: From January 29 to February 4

Contents: the special performance by dogs will be held in the large-scale activity and performance hall. In addition, white cheek gibbons and pandas will celebrate the Spring Festival in Nanjing fot the first time.

The ticket price is 30 yuan per person

Tiansheng Bridge Scenic Area: folk-custom performances

Time: 8:00-17:00 during the Spring Festival holiday

Content: folk-custom performances, guessing games, and other activities.

The ticket price is 20 yuan per person.

Jiangxinzhou: celebrating the folk-custom Spring Festival

Time: From January 29 to February 27

Content: residents can attend some folk-custom activities such as pasting couplets, hanging up lanterns, walking on stilt and setting off firecrackers.

The ticket price is only 1 yuan from January 29 to 31.

Pilu Temple, Tianfei Palace and Xixia Temple: Bell-striking activities

Time: on January 28

Contents: Striking the bell to pray for happiness and safety.

The bell-striking activity is free of charge.
