Income of software industry to exceed 6 billion RMB in the first quarter 
 
      Software industry in Nanjing presented the momentum of rapid growth in the first quarter.

     It is reported that from January to March, the income of software industry in Nanjing will reach 6.12 billion RMB, up 60.6% over the same period of last year.

     The rapid development of key software enterprises is one of bright spots. Nanjing Sanbao Science and Technology and Intel set up RFID R&D Center and the sale volume reached 160 million RMB in the first quarter, an increase of 233%.

     Nanrui Group realized over 100 million RMB of sale volume in the first quarter. Skytech was listed on the stock market in London, Britain and collected US$17 million of funds.

     Oracle and Intel came to Nanjing to have talks and business inspection. Microsoft set up Jiangsu Microsoft Innovation Center in Nanjing.

     In the first quarter, software industry bases introduced into 71 software enterprises and the total volume of investment reached nearly 100 million RMB.
