On Oct.31st, the opening ceremony of Rabe's Former Residence was held. Directors of Nanjing University, Consulate General of Germany in Shanghai and Siemens (China) attended the opening ceremony. Through the reconstruction, Rabe's Former Residence is divided in such two parts as "Memorial Hall of Rabe and International Safe Area" and "Rabe's Research and Exchange Center for the Reconciliation of Peace and Conflicts".
